And then flight to Hong Kong is Cancelled.

Woke Saturday morning to hear that Qantas had cancelled all flights due to industrial dispute. I know that Moses had trouble when trying to leave Egypt. and we are beginning to get a distinct feeling that something is up !!
Milton Keynes is OK and the food is good it is also free. Our 147 day holiday is being eaten up with delays. This has meant that our new blog is being filled with delay misery postings, rather than adventure exciting postings. As this is our first blog we so wanted to start off on the right foot. So watch this space.

Okay I am now asking who has jinxed us as we have re-routed to fly out on Sunday to Hong Kong and Qantas has grounded all flights world wide because of industrial action as of today .
If This goes on I shall have to sprout wings . bye

Rain Stopped Play

Well Thursday AWAY DAY  arrived and reports came from Bangkok- The place was sinking and the floods had reached the airport. It was then that I realised the importance of packing your own things. School boy error!!! - Maria had forgotten to pack my wellies. We decided we would not be overwhelmed with disappointment so early on in our adventure..  So we got a Thai take away in Milton Keynes and pretended that we were in Thailand. Plans now have changed and we will be starting our travels in Hong Kong leaving Heathrow on Sunday evening. This is my first entry  on our blog and I hope that we will be getting some good advise and suggestions from followers on our travels. Unity Island hugs all round  David and Maria xx
